All Repairs
All repairs are subject to an initial inspection and diagnostic test. By agreeing to these terms & conditions you are accepting that this information may be sent to Apple.
Non-Warranty Repairs and Upgrades
All repairs not covered by a valid Apple Warranty and will be subject to our initial inspection and diagnostic test. This test relates to the technician's time for looking at the equipment and assessing the work required. You will then be given a quote for the cost of the repair. In some cases, a third party part may be offered to fix or upgrade your machine. After the repair or upgrade is complete, the customer will be notified by phone and/or email.
Replacement Parts and Return to Base Warranty
Replacement parts are covered by an industry-standard three month (90 day) warranty from the date of the repair unless otherwise stated. If a problem occurs with the fitted part or workmanship you are required to return the machine to Mac Repair London at your own expense for inspection within the first 90 days from original repair date. If a problem is confirmed by Mac Repair London and there is no evidence of tampering or damage whatsoever Mac Repair London reserve the right to repair or replace as deemed necessary.
Supply of Spare Parts
We do not supply spare parts directly to customers. Mac Repair London cannot give free technical advice/assistance to, or be held responsible for any damage caused by customers deciding to install parts themselves or attempt to open the casing or tamper with any internal or external components whatsoever. Mac Repair London cannot be held responsible for any accidental damage or liquid spills.
Personal Data
Mac Repair London cannot be held responsible for the loss or damage to customers data held on storage media when equipment is brought in for repair. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all important data is backed up prior to the repair being carried out. We can provide a data backup or archiving service at extra cost if so required and requested.
Payment
All repairs/servicing/diagnostics undertaken must be paid for in full on collection unless otherwise stated.
Uncollected Computer Equipment
If after 14 days your machine is still waiting for collection, Mac Repair London will contact you to remind you it is waiting to be picked up.
If after 1 calendar month your machine is still wnot collected and all services paid for in full, Mac Repair London reserve the right to dispose of your machine or recycle it as deemed necessary to recover costs incured.
